Privacy policy

This is the English translation of our Datenschutzerklärung — the German version is the legally authoritative one; if the two ever disagree, the German text governs. This covers the whole site, including the waitlist, the invite feature, and the form on /vibe.html.

What we collect

Depending on which form you use, we collect: email address, name or nickname, city, your activity selection, the UTM source if you arrived via a marketing link, a hashed version of your IP address (never the raw IP address itself), your user agent (browser/device info), and a timestamp.

For the invite feature, we additionally collect: both parties' names and email addresses, the proposed place, date and time, and an optional message.

On the form at /vibe.html, we additionally collect — only if you choose to fill them in — a phone number, preferred activity, date/time, and a message.

Legal basis

We process this data based on your consent, per Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Purpose

We use this data to add you to the waitlist for an app still in development and keep you posted on it, and to deliver invites between users and let them be responded to.

Processors we use

• Supabase (based in the EU/Ireland) — database and storage
• Resend (based in the EU/Ireland) — sending emails
• Vercel — hosting the site and its server functions
• Cloudflare — DNS
• Google Ireland Limited (data may reach its parent Google LLC, USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) — Google Analytics, only after you consent via the cookie notice, see below

We don't share your data for advertising purposes, and we don't sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you withdraw consent, and at most 24 months after your last interaction with us. Invite data is kept for at most 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right, at any time, to access the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict its processing, request data portability, and withdraw your consent going forward. Email hello@addify.ae to exercise any of these.

You also have the right to complain to the Austrian data protection authority: dsb.gv.at.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses no cookies other than strictly necessary ones (e.g. storing your light/dark preference in your browser's local storage), plus — only if you agree — analytics cookies from Google Analytics.

Our primary analytics tool (Plausible) is entirely cookie-free and runs regardless of your cookie choice. We additionally offer Google Analytics, which sets cookies and sends data to Google (see processors above). It only loads if you actively accept the cookie notice shown on your first visit; declining or not responding keeps it off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser (reset site data for pookie.addify.ae) and reloading the page.
